Paul & Susan
I had the pleasure of photographing Paul & Susan’s wedding in June. The location was Glasgow University and I have to say it was an inspired choice; grand, traditional, dramatic, atmospheric. Great for photography! The couple were great for photography too – so happy, natural and relaxed. I knew from our pre-wedding shoot that would be the case so it was a pleasure to work with them. I have to say, also, that you couldn’t hope to meet a nicer two people so it was a privilege to be there.
We had some rain as the ceremony finished but we headed off to the cloisters and got some great shots – the wind was howling too but I think that worked for us – Susan looks amazing facing into the light and the wind; this will look amazing in a Queensbery album. The church was incredible – very imposing with sunlight streaming atmospherically through the windows but the priest was good fun and managed to cut through the drama of the setting.
